If you’ve been stalking me over on Facebook/Twitter/Google+/Pinterest/insert-social-media-network-here, you’ll know I’ve been plotting some very big changes for a while. It’s about this time of year when many photographers unveil new logos, or new websites, or tweaks to the business. As I am regularly telling people, I don’t do things by halves. So today, I am unveiling a WHOLE NEW ME! I don’t think I need to rabbit on about it, but will get to the point.
So without further ado, I’m pleased to announce that Jay Mountford Photography is now…
Absolutely massive thanks to Pete Wilbourne for my sexy new logo! He worked incredibly fast, and was great in listening to my thoughts, and putting his own spin on things. Notice the “E” on Emme looks like TLR lenses? Well that’s because I’m (happily!) introducing film photography into my wedding photography packages. I’m so excited about this!
I would love it so much if you were able to follow me over to all my new places - everything has been updated to my new brand. Most importantly, please understand that it is still me, Jay, underneath it all, running like crazy in the hamster wheel and being your favourite ninjographer. New clients will go straight into the Jay Emme Photography brand, while existing clients will be transferred to Jay Emme Photography for the remainder of their time with me.
Please do go and have a look around the new Jay Emme Photography site and leave some love over there. There will still be a few kinks to iron out, and some pages to throw in (and sleep to be had!)! But after 3 weeks of crazy coding, updating, emails to wordpress, creative curse words, 3am bedtimes, scribbled notes, copious rum and wine drinking, deserted kiddos, crying over galleries, dubious Facebook updates and a very achy neck/back, I am THRILLED I’ve managed to get it done.
This is the last post to appear on Jay Mountford Photography, so I shall say a VERY fond farewell over here. This site will stay live for many more months, whilst people find me in my new home. Whether you move with me or not, I’d like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to absolutely everyone who has supported me with this move. Those who had patience with me while I went a bit doolally (too many to mention), being my cheerleaders at 2am , and taking sneak peeks for me and letting me know I had created something reasonably worthwhile!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to stare hopefully at Google Analytics for a while. See you on the other side!
